I have a bunch of vegetables and I watched a Guga steak stir fry video, so stir fry is on my mind.

I’ve also had a lot of rice lately, so thinking I can look for some kind of noodle at Whole Foods while I’m there.
They have a small piece of hanger steak and a small piece of flat iron.
I made a sampling of steak types in Portland, and the hanger was great. Worth buying again.
About a pound total. Perfect.
No fresh noodles, but they have flat rice noodles.
Steak into chunks. Salt. Chili powder. Into the fridge on quarter sheet to marinate and dry out the surface a bit so I can sear.
Red cabbage, bottom of broccoli bag, carrots, and green onion from the fridge.
Small zucchini and a red pepper are new to supplement.
Stir fry sauce / noodle sauce - orange juice could be good (orange chicken is a thing) and a good use of the stragglers.
Juice two of the mandarins I have hanging around. Soy sauce. Soy Vay cheater teriyaki that I have in the fridge from something.
Stir fry the veg. Set aside.
Soak noodles in boiling water for 2 min. Rinse in cold water.
Stir fry noodles with sauce and a fat dump of fried garlic.
Sear steak hard on both sides. You guessed it.
Small pieces don’t take long, and I’ll rely on some carryover cooking.
Dump the sauce in the screaming hot pan to deglaze, thicken, and wake up the sauce.
Squeegee it back into the container as fast as I dumped it in.
Top noodles with these great seasoned peanuts: Thai-Turmeric Chili Virginia Peanuts
Thanks for the great recipe!
